The Summer Exhibition returns to the Royal Academy of Arts for its 258th edition, co-ordinated by Ryan Gander OBE RA around the theme of Interconnectedness — exploring ideas of entanglement and the unexpected, fortuitous connections between disparate things. Architecture, print, painting and sculpture are mixed throughout the galleries, creating conversations across media. Frank Bowling exhibits four works spanning three years of recent practice: As above so below (2025), Seven (2024), In a hat (2024) and Bushy (2022).
