Feeling Color:  Aubrey Williams and Frank Bowling, organised by The Modern and curator María Elena Ortiz, brings together the work of two groundbreaking artists in a rare duo presentation—their first time exhibited together. The show highlights each artist’s distinct and influential role in the evolution of late twentieth-century abstract painting. Although both Williams and Bowling were born in Guyana, South America, and later made their homes in London, England, their artistic journeys and careers followed uniquely individual paths.
