Frank Bowling. Collage takes Paris by storm with a colossal series of collaged works, shaped in part by the enduring influence of Matisse's Snail. Open until 25 May 2025 at Hauser & Wirth, Paris.
VERTIGO is a group show exploring the relationship between abstraction and the perception of natural phenomena, featuring works by James Turrell, Yves Klein, Helen Frankenthaler and Frank Bowling's Hello Rosa New York (1973). Opening soon: 26 April 2025 - 2 Nov 2025 at Villa Carmignac, Porquerolles Island.
Iconic: Portraiture from Francis Bacon to Andy Warhol explores the use of photographic sources in painted portraits in the 1960s, including Dan with Map, 1967. Open until 5 May 2025 at Holburne Museum, Bath.
British Art - Convergence brings together works by some of the most important artists of the 20th century including Frank Bowling's Beggar, 1963, recognising his role in the artistic dialogues that define British art. Open until 21 July 2025 at Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal.
Feeling Color: Aubrey Williams & Frank Bowling examines the dynamic interplay between two visionary artists, showcasing their distinct yet complementary contributions to the evolution of abstract painting in the late 20th century. Open until 27 July 2025 at Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Texas.
The Gorgeous Nothings Flowers is a group show celebrating themes of gathering and preservation, featuring works by Frank Bowling, Dorothea Tanning, Ruth Asawa and Eileen Agar in dialogue with the incredible botanical and historic heritage of Chatsworth House. Open until 5 Oct 2025 at Chatsworth House.

Secondary School visit to Frank Bowling. Collage in Paris at Hauser & Wirth with much excitement the students experienced Frank's paintings with an insightful talk with Ben and Susi.
Birthday Talk @ Goldsmiths hosted by Ben Bowling and Kate Keohane was a warm evening full of fascinating topics around Birth and Frank's early work.
Teachers Workshop at the Martin-Luther University was a special hands-on event held for the teachers of Halle hosted by Education Outreach Susi Sahmland. German Primary School were learning to teach English through the medium of art.
The South London Gallery's "Art Assassins" begin their tour of artists studios. Supported by Hauser & Wirth they have started by learning about Frank's studio from his studio assistant Frederik Bowling.
A Workshop for Primary and Secondary Art School Teachers was a great success with teachers giving feedback such as "Incredible to be in an artist studio space - very unique to have this in such a space. How lucky!" hosted by South London Gallery and Susi.
Pullens Yards Open Studios Summer 2025 is your chance to see a bustling community of artists' studios, speak with them and learn about the thriving South London art community. All welcome. No entry fee. Food stalls and gifts are available for those with cash only. Open 6-8th of June.

Martin Gayford, a long-time studio visitor and champion of Frank's work, interviewed him for The Spectator about his recent exhibitions at the Holburne Museum in Bath and Hauser & Wirth in Paris.
French art critic Emmanuelle Jardonnet highlighted Frank's Paris exhibition in her gallery pick for Le Monde (France's leading daily newspaper), admiring the "glowing suns, lush nature and liquid horizons" evoked by his canvases.
Tom Seymour interviewed Frank for a studio profile in US publication Cultured Magazine, describing his first-ever exhibition in France as "the latest testament to a legacy that is being defined in real time".
In her Harper's Bazaar France artist profile, Culture editor Tea Antonietti explored the influence of Henri Matisse's Snail (1953) on Frank's practice and how it inspired his first experiments with collage.
Finally, Frank took part in a wide-ranging, cross-generational conversation with the US artist Reggie Sylvester II - who has described Frank as a huge inspiration for his work - moderated by Oluwatobiloba Ajayi for Elephant Magazine.
